Loomit goes comic
We ail know Loomit right# We all know his
passion for painting characters, scenes
‘and big graffiti-projects coming froma
brain that seems to be “twightightzoned";
balancing between phantasy and reality.
Well the news is that Loomit is working en
his own comic book. The story itself is
written by a very famous german writer
called Sten tadoiny. He and Loomit wor-
ed togheter before when Loomit helped
him with the research for his book "God
der Frechhelt” a sort of science-fiction
graffiti roman, Loomit's described the
story for his comic book as "an Alice in
Wonderland sort of thing” since the keyfi-
gure is having his adventures fying
around in a teapoth. The comic book con-
tains about 60 to 70 full color pages and
will be out in a year. More news (if avai-
lable) and may'be a, sneat(y) preview in
our upcomming issues,

the ALL crew
"So far this year (beginning of february)
ALLcrew have painted over 100 trains”
Who are the ALL-cren?
The All-crew are: HETS, JUAN, SUN, RID-
DER, CELT and SODA. The crew started in
early 1995 and it were Oslos most active
trainwriters who joined forces. The crew is
mostly the same as 1995.
How is the situation for the ALL-crew
in Norway?
‘The subways are the main target and the
hardest to paint but also local trains are
‘ke ff you want to paint more than a run
Up... The Vandal Squad is very active here
‘and the places to paint are few so some:
mes we stop the trains at ordinary sta
tions and paint there. The big yards are
rarely painted because theyre hard to
center (cameras, fences, alarms and
guards) and there are always people at
work!
ALL-crew is getting up intemational,
‘are europe and scandinavia the main
target?
There's no main target, except for Oslo,
Scandinavia Is the closest so its naturally
Wwe paint there a lot.
Which countries did you like the most
cand why?
Tike all the places Ive been but maybe L
like Scandinavia the most; Sweden,
because it's kind of similar to Norway only
easier and bigger. Copenhagen, because
shit is running and it's a great place to be
in the summer. A lot of funny things hap-
pened there; "Rider was taking photos of
wholecars from the top of a train when
some workers came, he rised up, his head
hit the electrical wires and ft threw him
up in the air but lucky he landed on the
train before he felt down.”
How important is the crew and what's
the effect, of everybody doing damage
tags and pieces with the same name:
ALL, for you guys personal?
It's fresh when we pint the same name;
it feels good to see your crewname rolling
by and youre more untouchable to the
cops than when you'e using your person-
al name.
What's your view on style?
Style is important but T think there's no
need to make it unnecessaraly complica
ted cause no matter what you do you out
something of yourself in it that makes the
style, Most trains here are done with
quick, straight styles, easy to see, just for
‘the fuck of it!
What are the advantedges or disad-
vantedges of living and writing in
Norway?
Norway is a kind of outside everything and
only a few people from other countries
come here. The buff is very quick, even’
walls along the lines are butfed within a
few days, even the tunries... only the last
couple of morths the tines are bombed
and rot again buffed (trains mostly don't
run). The winters here suck! -16°C some
days ago, still in the winter we're just as
active as during the summet. So far this
year (beginning of february) ALLcrew have
painted over 100 trains, mostly subways.
"Living here” 1 dont think to much about
it but when you get back from visiting
other countries you realize it's a lot fres-
her to be a writer in an other country

Violent "taggers" spread
terror among "Oslo
Sporveier" employees
The last few weeks the war on “Oslo
Sporveiet’ (the Oslo transit company)
hhas been massive. 8 to 10 times during
‘october subway trains have been stop-
ped by gangs of ‘taggers’ or “crews’ as
they call Uemselves. Wearing masks
and armed with baseball bats, they
hhave pulled the emergency brekes and
threatened the vaindrivers while they
sprayed the subway cars. One traindri-
verhad to be treated bya doctor becau:
