Introduction

Good morning to obverse debater, Miss Yana and Our fellow Classmate. Im Ng Kai
Weng Reverse Debater. Home school or government school which is the better option
for children? That is a question. I believe government school is the better option for
children.

First, Government school have more facilities and more systematic. In government
school they have a well-equipped to make experiment or research in biology,
chemistry and physics study. Government schools also have class, computer lab, field,
and sport center to easily the student on learning. Another point is governments have a
good systematic syllabus to undergo their teaching process. At school there are a lot
more variety of subjects to learn where at home your parents will only teach you well
in the subject they know.

Second, at government school have friend and learn a lot of social skills where at
home dont have any friend. Socialization is a considerable part in someones life, and
the skill of interacting with one another is important in Malaysia society because we
are a multi-nation country. Home School students are out in the real world. In
public school student they can interact with a different ages, races, background, and
religion and culture people to more understand each other. Through socialization not
only can develop a healthy student it also develop our country to be more unity.
In my opinion, I still disagree with the home schooling is better than government
school. Especially on teaching by mother tongue will be more efficiency. Even home
schooling is legal in Europe countries such as Germany, Austria, Greece and Italy. But
it is still not suitable on our country because Malaysia is a multi-nation country. We
should let our children or students to understand each other language, religion, and
culture through home schooling by making a friend. It will increase the believing
among the races and in the same time to be train as a future master of the nation.

In my conclusion, government school is better instead of home schooling because

home schooling is lack of socialization and lack of proper facilities. If government
school have a new system like mentor-mentis to let children to adopt in new
environment it will be better. Lastly, i still disagree home schooling is better than
government schooling in Malaysia.
