O5 use Present Perfect in real instances of communication

STAGES OF THE LESSON


1. Class organisation
Aim : preparing the class for the new lesson

2. Activity 1
Procedure: T. is going to stick on the blackboard and on the walls some stickers written
with some irregular verbs. Ss. will come to the bb. and will try to match the infinitive of
each verb with its past simple counterpart.

3. Activity 2
Procedure: The students will listen to a song from Beatles, called I saw her standing there,
and they will have to fill the missing gaps of the lyrics with the verbs at past simple.

Procedure: Ss will solve ex 2 in which they have to find some specific words from the
lyrics which rhyme with some given words

which one describes the song best.

Procedure Ss will read the text on roles a few times in order to improve their

text, and will fill in some information regarding the event that happened (Spike has lost
her rucksack).
