Introduction
UNION COOP is registered as a Consumer Cooperative Society in the Emirate
of Dubai on May 24, 1982.UNION COOP. they establish and manage
hypermarkets in Dubai. The aim of the establishment of the UNION COOP is
to improve the social and economic conditions of its members, and to serve
the local community by implementing the cooperative principles
documented in the UNION COOP bylaw and the UAE Federal Law No. 13 of
1976 on cooperative societies. has 10 branches spread over strategic areas
in the Emirate of Dubai, such as Satwa, Rashidiya, Hamriya, Towar,
Mankhool, Jumeirah, Aweer,and Wasl,in addition to two branches in Mirdif at
Etihad Mall and in Barsha at Barsha Mall. Since its establishment, Union
Coop. has achieved remarkable success and is ranked at the top list
nationwide, in terms of role, outspread, capital and profits.

The ultimate shopping experience of consumer goods, using the latest
systems and technologies, in order to reach the largest customer base
through ongoing expansion and spread out to maximize shareholders wealth.

Employee Profile
In the company's there are 27 nationalities working there such as Emirates
5432 ,Philippines 2300 ,African 320, Indian 1350, Indonesia 20 etc. UNION
COOP follow some strategy for employing Emiratis they do recruit and
develop UAE Nationals and provide qualified staff training and retaining
value added for example, provide training courses for each employee like

skills needed for the first day to become a confident at work and giving
both the ability and knowledge to deal with any problem. also the UNION
COOP Looking in employees based on professionalism, knowledge,
experience, sense of responsibility, trust and respect of subordinates. also I
would to mention that UNION COOP had Objectives such as, shareholders
wealth maximization, increase sales and revenues, carefully monitoring costs
to achieve sustainable profit growth, developing our services which enhance
communication and benefit our customers, last thing achieving ongoing
expansion, development, and innovation, taking into account the balance
between the source of funds and their use.

I choose UNION COOP company for more than a reason as following: First,
they have good corporate reputation . second, effective leadership for
example, they taking the right and fast decisions in various areas of
business. Third, they work as a team as example, they working together for
company success. I'm always find a ways to upgrade my skills and come up
with fresh, innovative ideas, and I believe I could be an asset and benefit to
this company. if I'm working here I would develop my communication skills,
leadership skills, and time management. my skill will suit in this company for
many reason first I have ability to gain new skills and ability to work under
pressure. second, using Microsoft office programs such as, word , excel ,
point , windows and internet. Third, I always can find solutions for customer
problems . I need to improve myself be more comfortable when I meet
people from different regions and cultures so I can be able to work in this
company.

Interview with an employee

I arranged the interview through a contact person, I call him on his direct
line, and take his approval to do the Interview, and ask he when would you
be available to meet with me, he say I have free time in Sunday so I went to
Al Barsha Mall.. my interviewee is branch supervisor in Al Barsha Mall, he
worked for them 11 years, twice he got a promotion every 2 years, he was

team leader and now has become a branch supervisor, has salary around
23,000 AED. my interviewee like to work there for many reason such as,
good salary, provide a good environment at work, there are good team work
and good communication between employee. as the employee he like to do
all work at time and perform all the duties in the best way.

Summary
yes, I still want to work there because, I am a good fit for this organization
for many reason such as, I believe that I am perfect for this organization, I
have ability to gain new skills, I am a hardworking and fast learner and
ability to work under pressure, I always can found solutions for customer
problems. other thing I would to mention is I'm willing to meet the challenges
of any situation. Actually yes there some skill I need to improve myself be
more comfortable when I meet people from different regions and cultures to
be able to work in this company. the advantages of working there I will be
able to gain new skill , new ideas, new invitation, as I mention I willing to
meet the challenges of any situation. there are no disadvantages because I
will be hardworking, fast learner, and always can found solution for any
problem if there. the steps I will follow first contact them to see what I can
learn about the organization, second ask them how their hiring process
works, last steps wait contact them to see me for the interview.
