Each semester I worked one on one with two students during which I
used various reading and writing inventories and assessments to determine
their areas of strength and need,
implemented research-based strategies to target my two students needs,
created hands-on activities specifically designed to engage my two students
in reading and literacy practices,
wrote lesson plans and completed informal assessments during each clinic
session to monitor student progress, and
completed a case study on each student (that was given to their parents) to
see overall progress throughout the semester.
