Procedures:
1. Lesson Introduction / Anticipatory Set:
The instructor will ensure that every student has someone that they are in
correspondence with to ensure that their interview process can take place. If students
do not have an individual to correspond with, staff will set up an interview with
someone of that field. Students should have a list of questions prepared in order to
complete the process.
2. Direct Instruction:
Most of the instruction will be centered on each students individual interview and
information gathering techniques. Staff will ensure each student is completing their
interview (etc.) during the class period.
3. Student Interaction with lesson content / Guided Practice:
Students are in charge of their own interviews and obtaining the necessary information
in order to meet the requirements of upcoming assignments.
4. Independent Practice:
Students should be working independently during this period. If students have the

same career choices they should be paired up and allowed to complete the interview
process together. Each student should have a set of their own questions that they are
seeking answers to.
5. Review / Closure:
The teacher should ensure that all students have completed their interviews and have
gathered the information and answers to the questions they have. Teacher will review
information compiled and determine whether or not it is acceptable to complete the
student essays.

Evaluation/Assessment:
Evaluation will be at the discretion of the staff members whether or not it is deemed
acceptable.
