I am thinking
about our words and how
we use them. How we say
what we say. That shirt
looks good on you, or
You look good in that
shirt. Is it the same message with the same meaning? Does it make a difference how you say it, as
long as a compliment is
intended? To say you
look good in that shirt
sort of implies you may
not look so good in another one. Where That
shirt looks good on you,
says the person makes the
shirt. Its not something
to go crazy over, but in
the long run a steady eardiet of misspoken expressions will paint your brain
in a corner it cannot escape.
In the news lately
we have seen bannered
the expression, Black
lives matter. As if there
is some doubt about that.
But the expression implies
there is doubt, by the general public and definitely
