cuna de la Revolucin Mexicana. Su adolescencia la
pasa en Baja California y su edad adulta, mayormente en San Diego California.
Antonieta Villamil is a bilingual
poet, cultural activist and performer from
Colombia, author of 7 books and winner of the
Gastn Baquero award in 2002. Villamil combines
song to poetry. She weaves to the poem, rhythms
from Middle-East, Spain and Africa, to the voices
of Latino-African and Indigenous women of
America.
