QUESTIONS
1. Is it possible for the company to achieve a 100% pollution-free emission?
Discuss why or why not, and support your response by using algebraic
analysis on the given model.
2. What happens if the company does try to remove 100 percent of the
pollutants?
Will the company be successful at doing so, or will the attempt end in failure,
that is, will it be too expensive for the company?
ANSWERS
1. Yes, it is truly possible for the company to achieve a 100% pollution-free
emission. When you look at the tabular representations below, you will see that
the pollution can be reduced to 99%. The company will have to pay a huge
amount of money to be able to achieve the 100% pollution-free emission.

2. The company will spend a lot of money if they try to eradicate the pollution.
They will be successful but as what I have said, they will invest a lot of money.
But they are a company; which means they have a lot of money. Thus, no
matter how expensive the eradication of the pollution may be, it would not be a
problem for them.
B. SCENARIO 1:
The company will provide the cost they are willing to spend for removing
the pollutants.

The members of the state legislature will change % to a more
considerable value.
