Re Ambreen Khan

I have been contacted by Ambreen to comment on her academic capabilities and the reasons why
she deserves a scholarship from EDC.
Im a professor at the Ted Rogers School of Management and I have known Ambreen for the last
three years. She is a student in my - Global Management Studies - department and I also taught
her Managerial Economics. As compared to the other students in the class, she is part of the top
5%. Furthermore, she is an excellent student in terms of working with other students and I will put
her in the top 5% in terms of conscientiousness, attendance and participation in class discussions.
Ambreen has exceptional communication (written and oral) skills. She is an excellent team
member and can easily work independently when required and I must confess that she was one of
the students in my class who can think beyond the box and answer questions in a very futuristic
and analytic way. I appreciate the way she looks at business problems using a global perspective.
It was really impressive how Ambreen was able to link the prisoners dilemma to airline ticket
pricing and the telecommunication sector. She is very good with the application of economic and
management theories to real life business problem.
Im positive that Ambreen is an excellent candidate for your scholarship program and I strongly
recommend her for the award.
