explain how so.

6. Be able to state the position of the Federalists and Anti-Federalists.

7. Be able to demonstrate the progression of the US government from a Unitary system


under the British to a Federal system under the Constitution.

8. Be able to identify the causes and effects of several of the key events leading up to the
Revolutionary War.

9. Be able to debate the pros and cons of the Virginia Plan and the New Jersey Plan.

10.Be able to identify passages out of the Declaration of Independence that illustrate
Enlightenment ideas.

11.Be able to identify passages out of the Preamble to the Constitution that illustrate the
purposes of government.

12.Be able to state which side of the Federalist/Anti-Federalist debate you would side with
and why.
