Interdependence

Global Interdependence is known as one


country depending on another country for
something that another country might need.
Importing and Exporting of goods and services
contribute to making global interdependence
popular in todays world.

Culture Changes

Over the years, the advancement in


technology has allowed major
changes within cultures around the
world.

Technology also has made


communication easier for people
within different countries and has
allowed growth within each country

The world today has been revolving


around societys image which
triggers pop culture and materialism
because it is seen on television on
an everyday basis

form relationships known

Culture InfluenceEurope

EU- The European Union thinks that service is a special part in


the culture piece of their countries. Concerns arise with the
TTIP in relation to culture.

Turkey- Post WWI there was a treaty set in place known as the
Treaty of Lausanne only certain religions were allowed to
actively practice their religion.

Yugoslavia- The Bosnian War broke relationships with


Yugoslavia and are still not in good standings

Culture InfluenceRussia

Ivan the Great- He was responsible for


centralizing the Russian economy which had a
positive affect
Lenin- He was the creator of the Soviet Union
Stalin- He improved education within Russia

Conquest- There was


new religion pushed
onto the natives of the
country which created
a negative impact

ColonizationEuropeans overtook

Negative Impact on Western Cultures


dominating other cultures for several reasons:
Loosing relationships with our country and its
history
Not knowing relatives from our country other
than immediate family

New Zealand- they do not allow their


landmarks to be removed or destroyed
France- they put restrictions on what people
are able to wear in attempt to decrease the
intrusion of other cultures
North Korea- the government has full control
on what the people do within their country
