Tia Woods (To persuade an audience by the speakers credibility. The audience believes them because they are respected by most.)
A.

have a contest over the last Pepsi. And it persuades the audience into
thinking that the Pepsi can make you famous or that it is a good
product because different public figures want it.
B. Harry Styles and Drew Brees both want the last Pepsi. So they start
having a contest and gloat about who they are and what theyve
accomplished. One of the directioners persuades Drew into giving up
the Pepsi so that he can join the band. This persuades the audience
into thinking that since these famous figures are fighting over the
Pepsi. It makes them think that they should buy it just because they
made it seem like it was worth fighting over or a really desirable
product.

Pepsi you can be in

Satire Example 2
(A technique to expose, critique, and condemn foolishness and corruption of an
individual or society in a humorous, ironic, or exaggerated manner. The purpose is
to improve humanity by criticizing it).

Explanation:

A. It is a form of satire because it is showing that the new

iPhone is going to be the size of a measuring tape. It is
showing that you can do so much with this new iPhone,
which would be extremely helpful.
B. This commercial for the new iPhone is humorous, since
its making fun of the new iPhone. By saying that is
going to be as big as a tape measure, and that is it
going to be able to use for a lot of useful things. So
doing certain stuff is going to be more realistic then it
was on the previous iPhone. Taking pictures will be
much better, since youll be able to fit everything into the
