Explain the functions of Human Resource Management
For any country its human resources can be defined as the sum total of the
knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes. Similarly, from the
viewpoint of an organization, it represents the sum total of inherent abilities,
acquired knowledge and skills, talent and aptitudes of its employees. The human
resources have also been designated as human factors. According to Julius, the
human factor refers to a whole consisting of inter-related, interdependent and interacting physiological, psychological, sociological and ethical components.
