Gazelle S5028i
The Gazelle S5028i/S6028i is a full-gigabit L2/L3 rack-mounted manageable industrial switch
designed to satisfy broadband backbone transportation and aggregation requirements under
rigorous industrial and business conditions. The products employs full modular design and supports
flexible electrical and SFP optical interface combinations of up to 4 x GE uplinks and 24 x GE
downlinks. S5028i/S6028i allows maximum flexibility in configuring daisy-chain, ring, intersect ring
and tangent ring topologies, and ensures sub-50ms switchover time. Enhanced security is provided
by supporting IEEE802.1x, RADIUS and other authentication methods. The Gazelle S5028i/S6028i
can sustain high performance in extreme environments and operates normally over a wide
temperature range from -40 to 85C. It also boasts a fanless design, IP40 dust protection housing, a
redundant power supply, and is compliant with IEC 61850-3, IEEE 1613 and EN50121-4.
