The following programs will receive gifts through the generosity of Mike and Jo Cambridge:

1) St. Jude Catholic Church - $1,000,000

a. $219,000 to pay off parish debt
b. $381,000 to support Holy Family School expenses
c. $150,000 towards Youth Ministry and school scholarships for parish families in need to
attend HFCS and/or Xavier High School
d. $150,000 toward new parish center
e. $70,000 to the Archdiocesan Priest retirement fund, in honor of those priests who have
served St. Jude
f. $30,000 to assist seminary education for any St. Jude parishioner enrolled in major
seminary
2) St. Patrick Catholic Church - $1,000,000
a. $500,000 for parish debt reduction
b. $300,000 to St. Patrick Education Endowment Fund
c. $100,000 for scholarships to attend HFCS and/or Xavier High School for parish families in
need
d. $70,000 to the Archdiocesan Priest retirement fund, in honor of those priests who have
served St. Patrick
e. $30,000 to assist in seminary education for any St. Patrick parishioner enrolled at major
seminary
3) Loras College - $1,000,000
a. $400,000 to establish the Michael and Jo Cambridge Endowed Scholarship to students from
Cedar Rapids and Iowa City with demonstrated financial need
b. $496,500 Loras Fund, Michael and Jo Cambridge Award and /or the School of Business
Initiative
c. $103,500 previously committed to Loras
4) Mt. Mercy University - $1,000,000
a. $400,000 to establish the Mike and Jo Cambridge Scholarship for Linn County business
students with demonstrated financial need studying in the universitys business program
b. $300,000 for the new University Athletic Complex and training facilities
c. $200,000 to establish the Mike and Joe Cambridge Scholarship for students from Catholic
high schools to attend Mt. Mercy University
d. $100,000 to establish the Mike and Jo Cambridge Fund for Catholic religious programs to
benefit the Campus Ministry programs and offerings
5) Xavier High School - $500,000
a. $125,000 for the conversion of the library to a Student Learning Engagement Center
b. $50,000 to complete the Xavier Foundation Endowed Scholarship Program Goal and to
establish the Mike and Jo Cambridge Endowed Scholarship.
c. $325,000 to Update and Enhance the Xavier Digital Environment
