WHAT HAPPENED?

JUNE, 18TH, 2015

San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco.

Last year I was visited by my brother and his family. They spent time with us a whole week over my
place. At night, his family asked me if it was possible to go to the ranch because they wanted to meet
our relatives who are living there. I said: Yes, of course. Obviously, we were very happy talking
about things related to the family, the travel, the food and all that kind of stuff. We lasted the whole
night chatting and laughing. And after all, we were happy because we didnt see each other since
Christmas seven years ago.

The next day, we woke up very early in the morning. We took a shower at 6:00 a.m. and although it
was dark outside it didnt matter to us. By the way, when it was just my turn to take the shower the
water of the bathtub was freezing a lot. Then, we went to the ranch that is located near to Lagos de
Moreno City. They got surprised in the first place when we arrived at the citys plaza because it was
the Citys Carnival Season. In fact, they wanted to stay there for a little while. They saw the parade
eagerly. Even though, it lasted almost an hour and a half. I told them that a long time ago, those
parades were better.
Finally, when we arrived at the ranch and we were welcomed by the whole family we started to hug
each other, we spend the rest of the day eating fish with vegetable and roasted beef. The food was
delicious. Well, and what about the drinking; obviously, we drank a lot of wine and beer in the evening.
Children didnt want to come back home, but it was getting late already that we said goodbye to
everybody and left anyway. Later, when we were at home we started to tell the whole story to my
mother; she didnt go with us because she was preparing a party to my nieces birthday. It was a
memorable party indeed. All these events took place or happened in August last year.
My concluding words about this amazing vacation with my brother and his family are: I will never
forget my brothers visit and I already miss him!!!
