LEAVE POLICY

1. This Policy is effective from 1st JANUARY 2015


2. Purpose
The leave rules have been formulated to enable the employees to maintain a
healthy work life balance. Leave is given to the employees to provide for
sickness/emergency/personal work/rest and recreation. Calculation of leave
shall be on the basis of calendar year starting January and ending with
December every year.
3. Coverage
All employees of the company are covered who are on permanent rolls of the
company.
4. Responsibilities
The GM-HR in consultation with the ED-Fin. & Admin/C.E.O./M.D. is responsible
for determining the Leave Policy.
Types of Leave

Sick Leave: Sick leave is paid leave granted by an employer to an


employee for a period of time during which the employee is unable to
attend work due to any illness or incapacity.
Maternity Leave: This leave will be provided to a female employee
who has worked for 160 days or more in 12 months immediate
preceding the date of her expected delivery.
Leave without Pay (LWP): This leave will only be provided on sole
discretion of the management, if and only if an employee has no leave
balance with him/her.
