ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Elise L. Wolffs Library Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) helps me become responsible
computer user. This AUP will tell me the right and wrong things to do while using any
kind of electronic device including, but not limited to desk top computers, the internet,
Chromebooks, and laptops in the library. Mrs. Vermillion will not let me use any
electronic device or have access to the internet if dont follow the rules. This document
is only good for one school year.

1. I know that using the desk top computers, the internet, Chromebooks, and laptops is
a privilege, not a right. I will use it correctly or I will not be able to use it.
2. I will take care of all desk top computers, Chromebooks, and laptops; including the
monitor, keyboard, hard drive, and mouse. I will be cautious and gentle when handling
the laptops and Chromebooks. I will use two hands when carrying a mobile device and I
will be careful when plugging the mobile devices in and out.
3. I will only go to Mrs. Vermillions or another teachers approved websites.
4. I will not give my name, address, or phone number to anyone online. If I see the
computer asking me to give that information, I will tell Mrs. Vermillion right away.
5. I will not give out any of my personal or school login information to anyone.
6. I will never login under anyone elses name.
7. I will use good judgement when communicating online and never cyberbully someone
by typing hurtful messages or using bad words.
8. If I see a hurtful post or comment on edmodo, or see something that looks or seems
unacceptable I will tell Mrs. Vermillion right away.
9. I will never delete or edit another users work.
I have read the Elise L. Wolffs Librarys Acceptable Use Policy or it has been read to me
by Mrs. Vermillion and I understand the rules of using electronics in the library.
