    ZoroastrianismisoneofoldestmonotheisticreligionsinwhichitwasfoundedinAncientIranby
    theprophetZoroasteraround3500yearsago.Forroughly1000years,Zoroastrianismwasone
    ofthemostpowerfulandinfluentialreligionintheworld.Atonepoint,itwastheofficialreligion
    ofPersia(ModerndayIran)fromroughly600B.C.Eto650C.E.Butunfortunately,
    Zoroastrianismhasdwindleddowntooneofthesmallestreligionsintheworld.Inastudyin
    2006,therewerereportedroughlylessthan200,000followersworldwide,withamajorityofits
    practitionersbeinginIndia.InZoroastrianism,thecreator,AhuraMazda,isdeemedasallgood
    thingsintheworldandthatnoevilcanpermeateororiginatefromAhuraMazda.Whichmeans
    inZoroastrianism,goodandevilhavetwodifferentanddistinctsources.Allevilintheworld
    (druj)istryingtodestroyboththecreationofMazdaandallthatisgoodinlife,thatistryingto
    sustaintheevil.ThemostimportanttextsofthereligionarethosepertainingtotheAvesta,of
    whichasignificantportionhasbeenlostandmostlyonlysmallliturgiesofwhichhavesurvived
    overthelastcouplethousandofyears.
