Goal: for students to have the opportunity to listen to and identify connected speech
in the context of English Mania
Objectives (SWBAT):
Students Will Be Able To
1. brainstorm ideas about English as a global language
2. listen to and understand a TED talk about English as a global language/English Mania
3. identify connected speech and annotate key sentences
4. understand more rules about connected speech
