For this year, the theme is “Pamilya at Pamayanang Handa, Katuwang sa Pag-unlad ng Bansa” which is to promote public awareness on disaster prevention and preparedness to natural and man-made hazards and disseminate information on the steps to be undertaken to mitigate the adverse effect of such hazards. ‘The LGU Alaminos City thru the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office continuously Took for ways to strengthen its capability in coming up with plans and strategies ‘which highlight the goal of the disaster risk reduction and management advocacy of the Philippines that is: safeguarding of communities from the adverse effects of disasters to promote sustainable development. 3.
