    Centek Industries designs and manufactures fiberglass flanges in a variety of standard sizes to complement their line of fiberglass tubing. Flanges are required for tubing larger than 4.5 inches in diameter according to industry standards. Centek flanges are constructed using a hand layup process with E-glass and woven roving for strength and heat and flame resistance.     description

    Centek Industries, Inc. designs and builds flanges in a wide variety of sizes to complement our extensive
    line of fiberglass tubing. According to the ABS “Guide for Building and Classing Motor Pleasure Yachts”,
    hose can only be used for tubing up to 4.5” O.D. in diameter. Tubing larger than 4.5” O.D. requires the
    use of flanges.

    Materials and construction

    Centek flanges are constructed using a hand layup process and utilize varying layers of continuous
    strand E-glass and high-density woven roving giving them superior tensile and compressive properties.
    As with all Centek fiberglass products, the highest quality, flame-retardant and heat resistant resin is
    used. In addition to the standard sizes listed below, blank flanges and custom designed flanges are also
    available. Please call our engineering department for more information.
