THE ROLE OF CHARACTERIZING AND EVALUATIVE DESCRIPTIONS
IN MODERN NOMINATIVE PROCESS: CONTRASTIVE ASPECTS
Dialectical interaction of characterizing and evaluative descriptions in modern nominative aspects is discussed in the article. According to B. Russell, proper names and descriptions make two different classes of signs. In connection with this statement, I specify all names and descriptions according to their dialectical interaction in the actual world and the value world. The conclusion is made
hereto that the main function of the description in the actual world is to characterize the referent
while the main function of the description in the value world is to evaluate the referent.
