MS access
Client wanted to do an analysis of the possible impact
that this change would bring in terms of cost and time
taken to updated the data base.
Client was also keen on knowing the process efficiency
of implementing a MS access.
Evaluate and compare the cost and time undertaken by
employees for preparing the report by MS Excel and MS
Access.
Evaluate the increase in process efficiency by reducing
rework Due to maintaining a data by three different
people having, every one have different numbers most
of the time.
Any small changes in data every time, one need to
updated the multiple files from the beginning.
Lots of time is wasting by doing the same exercise
multiple because of three different people using three
different spreadsheets.
Updating a data is ongoing exercise.

data.

Using access over time, new records are continually added without needing to add new fields, This allows accurate reports to be
generated every year, quarter, month, week, day, etc.

Access databases provide many tools to maintain data quality, Access also offers referential integrity between tables to ensure data
is consistently defined across tables.
