Thane of Cawdor, Macbeth, is assumed to come into the position of King
after King Duncan was murdered. Duncans murderer is still yet not known however there is fear that it may have been his own son, Malcolm. Macbeth, who will soon be crowned King, had a strong relation with Duncan. They were blood related, cousins and had a large amount of trust for each other. Macbeth however, is not a son of the King and hence will be one of the few who become King without being to son of the King.
Banquo troubles Macbeth
Banquo, once one of Macbeths closest and trusted colleagues, has given Macbeth a hallucination at a recent party held by himself and his wife. Banquo, who was recently found dead at the time of the party, had given Macbeth a hallucination where he saw Banquo sitting on his chair and taunting him. There is no evidence why Macbeth would have such hallucinations however numerous people claim that Macbeth was related in the crime of Banquo as well as King Duncan.
Witches Taunt Macbeth
The 3 witches have once again taunted Macbeth by implanting numerous ideas in his mind whilst walking over the terrain. The witches gave him 3 taunts, just like his first encounter with them. Its not sure what will occur due to these 3 taunts, however if Macbeth thinks theyre true, certain dismay will add to the already chaotic disorder of this time. Time will be the only teller of what occurs after this event.
Lady Macbeth suicides, Macbeth fights
Lady Macbeth has recently committed suicide after supposedly suffering from severe forms of sleepwalking and hallucinations. Its not known what the hallucinations consisted of, however locals are once again saying that it was the pressure of hiding the murder of King Duncan and others which has made her commit the act. Lady Macbeth may not have
committed the act of murder on King Duncan and Banquo, however it is
strongly hinted that she may have played an important role in persuading Macbeth to commit the act. Macbeth however seems unphased, and will continue to fight McDuff.
