Inconel 617 offers high temperature strength and great oxidation resistance. Excellent resistance to
pitting and crevice corrosion and general corrosion in reducing and oxidizing conditions. It prevents
carburization, spalling and aqueous corrosion. Alloy 617 is commonly used in aerospace and land
base gas turbines, fossil fuels, catalyst grid support in acid processing and power production plants.
