FORM A: Professional Experience 1: EPR100 Teacher as Learner

This form is used to assist the pre-service teacher and mentor teacher to identify and notate examples that demonstrate initial understanding and beginning
competence against the AITSL Standards for Graduating Teachers. A copy should be kept by the pre-service teacher for use in the compilation of his or her
electronic portfolio to be presented at the completion of the course. This form should be completed at the mid-point of the professional experience and again at the
end of the professional experience.

Jamie is enthusiastic and eager to learn as much as he can about teaching and learning. He relates to the children well and respects them as
individuals, developing relationships by showing an interest in them. His keen interest in teaching models and styles of learning is evident in
his discussions with colleagues and he relates well to the parents. Jamie seeks advice and reflects on his teaching, being open and honest in
his self evaluation. His preparation and lesson planning has been thorough. This practicum has been an excellent start to his teaching career.
