FINAL REPORT AND ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINE

INDUSTRIAL TRAINING (LAZ 3012 / LAZ 4022)


BACHELOR OF SYARIAH AND LAW (WITH HONOURS), FSU, USIM.
For the purpose of evaluation, students are asked to prepare one final report (which consists of reports
for the industrial attachments required in the course) and an oral presentation. The guideline for the
final report and oral presentation is as the following:

A. Final Report (20 marks)


The final report satisfy the following criteria:
(a) Composition:
- Introduction: Clearly explain the background, profile and function of the industry
- Contents: Clearly and systematically explain the activities during industrial training
- Conclusion: Clearly state the conclusion and recommendations
- Acknowledgment that the daily Log books are submitted and approved by the
industrial supervisors regularly
(Note: You may divide the sections into two parts: Industrial Training 1 and Industrial
Training 2)

(b) Font: Arial 11


(c) Spacing: 1.5
(d) Length: 6-10 pages
(e) Format: Essay
(f) Any reference must be written in footnotes.
(g) Date of Submission: 7 September 2015. (Please submit this report to
your USIM supervisors)
B. Presentation (20 marks)
The oral presentation must include the following details:
(a) Composition:
- Introduction: Overview about the industry
- Contents: Lessons learnt from the industrial training, show that student has gained
knowledge and skills from this training
Conclusion: Conclusions and recommendations
(You may divide the sections into two parts: Industrial Training 1 and Industrial
Training 2 or other format that is necessary, as long as it is clear)
(b) Presentation Tools: Use text, graphics, figures and photographs appropriately
(c) Presentation Skills: Show good professionalism, interest, creativity and organization in
the presentation

(d) English and Clarity


(e) Question and answer: Respond, understand and answer questions appropriately
(f) Presentation Duration: 10-15 minutes, from Monday 7 September 11
September 2015. (Please arrange appointments with your USIM
supervisor)
Note: The supervisors are required to key-in the marks in the eLI
system by 16 September 2015 (Wednesday).
