According to the cancer
surveillance information in Sri
Lanka, it clearly shows
increasing incidence of breast
cancers among females during
last 20 years giving an age
standardized incidence rate of
26.3 /100,000 in year 2007
among females.

an early stage, it can be cured
by applying appropriate
intervention early.
