r. Anura Chandrasiri of CP/Katu/Janaraja Maha Vidyalaya was trained by Intel teach Programme and he had
to face some difficulties when it was carried to the teachers of the school to meet his target

Most of the teachers were already trained by the Intel Teach Programme
The difficulty of the teachers who expect this training to stay a particular week day after

school.
Getting much time to reach the particular school for the training to teachers of the other

schools.
Basically he discussed these difficulties with the Principal of the school. The great support and
the inspection of the vice principal were paid for these problems.
After that, the principals and the teachers of the other schools were informed about the Intel
Teach Programme with the permission letter of Mrs. G.G.L. Perera (Zonal Director of Education,
Katugastota zone.)
At the end of Intel tech programme,
There was an outstanding usage of Modern technology of the teachers for their lessons

and the students for their learning.

There were computer programmes (after school classes) for the students of the school as

well as for the students of the other schools.

It was able to increase participation of the students of the school to the school software

competition from 8 students to 90%.

The creations of the teachers for the above competition were increased from 8% - 96%.
It was able to get the participation to this competition of the students who had no any

computer facility in their schools.

As a result of this, the Computer Learning Center of Janaraja Maha Vidyalaya was able to
get the second place from the efficient schools in central province according to the SEMP-

11 project of the province.

It was able to launch the schools website which was a great need for the school.
He was able to launch websites for the two schools which had no Internet facility due to

the requesting of the teachers who came for Intel Teach training of those schools.
He will be much obliged to the Principal, the teachers and the students of Wewala Parakkrama
vidyalaya for the given support.
He is doing a yeoman service to the school, Ranabima Royal College that he is working at present.
