Assessment technology
Student centered technology is appropriate and specific-targeted technology for the
student. Technology could be used to test students and do much more with academics as it stores
the results in the program. There are many tools that help like Software and websites that can be
used to benefit students from all over the spectrum of needs and circumstances.
Some websites assist the blind: Web-based applications and suggests potential solutions.
The outcome is an accurate understanding of specific design elements that present roadblocks
and challenges for the user in interacting with the Web-based application and feasible design
modifications to potentially improve the utility of these applications for specific user types
(Babu, 2013). Those with down syndrome would find it helpful in their journey of life:
students centered, was effective to incorporate these students to use the new technology,
promoting their social and educational integration as their integration in the labour market
(Sanchez, 2006).
Data analysis of the results consists of programs designed for just that: to analyze how the
students did and have them excel in their knowledge and maturity. These are ways that
technology facilitates the work of the teacher. Visually the results will help compare and push
forward a specific plan of work. It saves time to have the technology for this purpose.
A negative aspect is that the digital world cripples the quality of human interaction: face
to face and more human approach. Some would like to eliminate PowerPoint because it may
hinder students learning rather than helping for students are not as active and engaged (Lawson,
2013). There is some true to this approach. Humans could have cheap communication when
they cannot see a live person with their expression and human characteristics. It is the teacher

who should find a balance of the human and technological tools. The teacher himself will find
satisfaction in being tired after a good days work where he had worked directly with the live
person, his student, and not a boring screen in front of him.
To conclude that there is a need of a balance between the digital and the human
intervention is crucial if one is to utilize these tools for the well being of human beings. A baby
will die if not a hug or human affection is found so to students need a share of tools used by
others so to satisfy the mind and the heart. Software and websites are just the instrument and the
person is the beneficiary on both ends of the process.
