Overall permissions needed for Pro-Watch service and user accounts

Pro-Watch Service:
-

logon as a service user right on local machine


act as part of the operating system user right on local machine
Read//write permissions on registry
Read/write permissions on
Access to Master database (permit in DB role: public)
o xp_mic_action (micxp.dll)
o xp_mic_event (micxp.dll)
o xp_mic_hp (micxp.dll)
o xp_micaction (micxp.dll)
o xp_micevent (micxp.dll)
o xp_smtp_sendmail (xpsmtp80.dll)
o xp_varbintohexstr (xprepl.dll)
Access to pwnt database (permit in db role: public + pwnt_user)
On some systems, due to security configuration the Datareader and Datawritter
permits must be added to the user on the pwnt database
Access to pwnt user group (security group-global for domain or local group)
If ProWatch is integrated to any other system the user must have at least public
rights to read and write the other systems database.

Pro-Watch Users:

Access to pwnt user group (security group-global for domain or local group)
Access to ProWatch directory:
o Read and Execute
o List Folder Contents
o Read
If user needs ability to create/modify/delete badge fields, then requires Database
Administrator role
