Whole Brain Classroom

This year our classroom will be a Whole Brain Classroom.
You will notice that our classroom doesnt run like other
classrooms. Whole brain teaching utilizes all areas of the
brain, keeps students engages throughout their lessons, and
helps them retain much more information than the standard
lecture-discussion model. Whole brain teaching is a highly
interactive form of instruction hat delivers information to
students in short chunks. Students then teach each other
what they just learned to their partners, using handgestures to help them remember specific vocabulary. We
will use gestures to emphasize key ideas throughout the
curriculum. It is fun and amazing!
