Generally speaking, there is a rich variety of ways to communicate.

While some
people prefer having face-to-face conversations, others may feel more comfortable
talking to other people via a screen. It depends if you are introvert or extrovert. I
mean if you dread going to parties where you dont know many people, or if you feel
at ease speaking in front of a crowd. But well, I think that it goes without saying that
having face-to-face conversations is better than texting or chatting. However, in
order to keep a conversation going and be a good communicator, I consider that
people should speak clearly, do not interrupt, be courteous, do not lose their temper,
and be careful how they project their voice. The voice is a communication tool and
people concentrate more in the way other people sound rather than the content of
the speech. How you use your voice can make others view you as decisive, confident,
trustworthy or on the other way round, insecure, weak, unpleasant, boring, and
dishonest. For example, a monotonous voice could become bored for some people, a
mellow or warm manner could make others feel drowsy, or a high-pitched tone could
be annoying.
