POST SECONDARY FUNDING

The current post secondary students must continue to demonstrate their commitment to their studies
and that they are complying with the post secondary guidelines. Failure to do so may jeopardize their
sponsorship.

TUITION PAYMENTS

BOOK ALLOWANCE

It is the students responsibility to ensure their

tuition invoice reaches our office. This information is available only to the student on the student portal of the college/university. Tuition
sponsorship letters and payments are sent to the
college/university when the student submits their
tuition invoice/information to our office. If our office has to pay a late fee because you did not
submit your information to us by the due date
required, that late fee will be deducted from your
student allowance.

Students receive $500.00 per semester (September

& January) .KEEP ALL RECEIPTS!! Should you require more than the amount provided, send the receipts for the amount issued along with the receipts
for the additional costs for reimbursement.

CHILD CARE ALLOWANCE

If you are claiming a childcare allowance, you are
required to submit proof that the child/children is/
are living with you. This is usually a copy of your
income tax return (2014). This shows the dependents you are claiming. This must be submitted prior to the issuance of the September 2015
allowance. If the childcare allowance is not included in the September 2015 deposit, it is because we have not received a copy of the 2014
income tax return.

Option - Instead of including the book allowance in the

student deposit, a book sponsorship letter can be sent
directly to the book store. To determine the amount to be
included in the book sponsorship letter, the student must
provide a book list from the college/university with the
costs of the texts. This is the amount that will be reflected
in the sponsorship letter. A sponsorship letter sets up an
account at the bookstore. In order to get your books, you
must sign an invoice at the bookstore and they will invoice
our office.

TRAVEL
Travel is based on the actual bus fares
(Greyhound) from your home to the school. Your
return travel home for Christmas will be included in
the November 25th deposit.
