Spy 5000m installation on

Suzuki Gsxr 600

BY FEDXBOX
Someone tried to take my bike, since then I couldn’t sleep well, so I brought it in.
I know my wife she is pissed off .
So I bought the spy from ebay because I can not
afford something like the scorpio. So far I'm loving
the Spy.

I decided to work inside because of the rain and the cold weather, I stripped
out all the fairings and started to look for places to mount the unit.

You can use tape to prevent water R u n th e w ire s w h e re ve r yo u
or moisture getting in but not w a n t b u t ke e p th e m a w a y fro m
really necessary, I mounted the scre w h o le s a n d su ch ..
unit on the left side of the bike.
This is where I placed the siren, to the rear brake side of the bike right beside
the starter relay, you need to connect the blue wire from the alarm to the
yellow/green form the positive side of the relay. I went to this tutorial to have
an idea, keep in mind that is other brand but gixxerkelly did a good tutorial :
http://www.gixxer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=232891
Black wire with round connector and big ground symbol tag to any
screw in contact with metal or frame……
I used a round connector for the other black wire that goes to the
negative terminal in the battery, soldered a little and I used liquid
electrical tape to secure the connection
The same for the red wire but just don’t connect it yet or you are
going to fry something, that’s the last wire that you connect when
you are done….
I used tape to keep the wiring
harness nice and neat
The two yellow and brown wires from the alarm run them two the tail
and find the connector that feed tail lights, one yellow for each
positive turn signal wires from light bulbs ,trace them from the bulb
or use a multimeter to find positive. Brown goes to positive on
ignition, found it in the same connector in next picture.
Yeas that’s the one, the two yellows to positive turn signal and brown
from alarm to brown I think (positive when ignition is on)
Blue wire from alarm to yellow/green wire on positive side of starter relay, like many
other in other thread in different forums I did not connect pink and gray wires from alarm
(for remote start) because there is a risk involve, read about that and you decide
because you need to bypass immobilizer.
This is where I mounted the LED. Cool don’t you think..
This is where I mounted the antenna..
After I finish I realized that I have and extra screw with # 7 on the head, not
sure if came from the bike (I didn’t removed that one) or maybe already have
it with my tools don’t know. If someone have a clue let me know :
Fededrosario@hotmail.com
This golf ball is in the tail section with my tools, so if the pros try to
move the bike really slow (I don’t have perimeter sensor) the ball
moves around and triggers the shock sensor, if that doesn't work well
you might loose the bike and a nice golf ball….
Check this sites for more info and Diy ..
• go to scrib.com and look for my service manuals on gsxr's.

• For most basic setup, you only need the:

• 1. +12v (red wire with fuse) - battery +
• 2. Ground (Black wire that has round connector with a hole) - battery -
• 3. Signal lights (2 yellow wires) - Signal light +ve side (Take out the bulb and use
multimeter to check)
• 4. Brown wire - "On" position of your ignition

• Additional feature:
• 5. Pink or Grey wire for anti-hijack - refer to my previous post, needs a relay to work
properly
• 6. Remote start (Blue wire) - +ve side of starter relay coil

• Hope this helps.

Just in case if you don’t have
this.
