Lecture is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a

particular subject.
Discussion group is a group of individuals with similar interest who gather either formally or
informally to bring up ideas, solve problems or give comments.
Role-playing refers to the changing of one's behavior to assume a role, either unconsciously to
fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role.
Brainstorming is a group or individual creativity technique by which efforts are made to find a
conclusion for a specific problem by gathering a list of ideas spontaneously contributed by its
member(s).
Demonstration involves showing by reason or proof, explaining or making clear by use of
examples or experiments. Put more simply, demonstration means 'to clearly show'.
Recitation is a presentation made by a student to demonstrate knowledge of a subject or to
provide instruction to others.
Debate refers to the process of considering multiple viewpoints and arriving at a judgment, and
its application ranges from an individual to make a decision in his or her own mind to an
individual or group to convince others to agree with them.
