Recipe #1 worked great. It cleansed the skin surprisingly well and there was
no dirty substances left on our hands. Recipe #2 cleaned most of the dirty
substances off of our hands but then left coconut oil all over our hands
leaving them slimy and not cleansed. Recipe #3 washed the substances off
of some of the testers hands but one person still had a great amount of
dirty substances on her hands. Over all it left the testers hands feeling
sticky and not clean. We can all agree that Recipe #1 cleaned the best and
so far it is our favorite soap.

When testing our soaps we were able to see that Recipe #1 was the best soap at
moisturizing and that would be the one we would chose. Recipe #1 was the best
because even though it left the hands very dry right after washing them they
started getting a lot softer minutes later. The reason why Recipe #2 wasnt the best
is because even though the hands were somewhat soft it left the hands very oil.
Recipe #3 wasnt the best either because it left the hands a little dry and oily right
after washing them. They started feeling a little softer afterwards though but still
not the best.

After testing the soaps for the residue and feeling the soaps give we agreed that
the best one would be Recipe #1. The reason why Recipe #1 is the best is because
we noticed that soap didnt leave anything behind and the hands felt very soft
afterwards. Recipe #2 somewhat cleaned the hands but they felt very oily so they
didnt feel to clean. Also, Recipe #3 made the hands feel very oil therefore the
hands didnt feel clean at all.

Through these experiments we found that Recipe #1 foamed a lot more than
the other two. It actually foamed much more than we expected it to. Recipe
#2 and #3 produced no foam at all and we were very disappointed. We can
tell from these tests that Recipe #1 continues to shine in the light and we
would still say that this is our favorite recipe.

Recipe #1 did not smell awful but it had and interestingly sour orange smell. Recipe
#2 did not really smell like anything, if we had to say what it smelled like, we would
say it had a watered down coconut oil smell. Recipe #3 smelled the best. It smelled
like lavender mostly which was a pleasant surprise based on what the other soaps
smelled like. For smell we think Recipe #3 is the best so we are going to change the
smell of the one we choose to lavender.
Recipe #1 had the best properties except for smell and a bit from the
moisturizing department. Based on that, we will be choosing to make
Recipe #1 into a big batch but change the scent to lavender (instead of
orange) and use grapeseed oil instead of almond oil (to help with the
moisturizing).
