Based on my internships, job experience, and year-long student teaching, I
believe that I am fully qualified to fill the position. I would be honored and

built on engaging students and connecting with them- eventually
empowering them and developing students who can carry on postsecondary education.
My most valuable teaching experiences have to be the one I have made
throughout my teaching internships throughout Phoenix and Tempe. My
year-long teaching internships have molded me into the teacher that I am
today. Throughout the experience I have analyzed and observed a variety of
classrooms and students- eventually learning how to improve student
achievement. I have also co-taught, and assisted a diverse group of teachers
throughout my time during my internships. Learning everything from
scaffolding, to using technology in the classroom, and learning time and
time again how to engage students. My experience most definitely expanded
my skills and catapulted me into being a better teacher- who engages
students, makes accommodations, and uplifts students. I have a passion for
teaching and believe in using multiple models and strategies when teaching
to meet every students needs. I am confident the skills I have acquired
would allow me to be a valuable addition to your district.

I am presently a Secondary Education English major at Arizona State
University. Through the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College I have the
esteemed privilege to be a Student Teacher and intern at various High
schools and Middle schools through my Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix.
Thus giving me the opportunity to not only shadow various teacher but to
also work with your children. Student teaching is a wonderful window for
me to be able to work with your children and gain more understanding of
what it is like to be a great teacher.

inform about this years placement here at Chaparral High School. I will be
assisting Mrs. Connie Meyers here at the school every Monday, from 7:30
