Healthcare delivery reaches Mumbai & Hyderabads doorsteps

Mumbai, Maharashtra - 27 August 2015 Mera Medicare, the mHealth startup, that
provides an e-commerce portal for free home delivery of generic medicines, has kick-
started its operations in Mumbai and Hyderabad. Barely in a few months after its
inception, the company became the trusted local chemist of Delhi, NCR and
Bangalore.
The company provides a 15%-60% savings on branded and generic medicines
to its consumers, by cutting on its operational costs. It eases the process of meeting
customers healthcare needs by allowing them to compare the prices offered at
various pharmacies, providing a timely home delivery and convenient ordering
through channels like Whatsapp. It also maintains each users personal medical
database free of cost. This model has worked brilliantly for the company and it now
has a growing network of over 50,000 customers and 250 pharmacies.
According to the CEO, Mr. Pankaj Gupta, this is just the beginning. Talking
about their future plan he says, Overall we want to be the Flipkart of healthcare
sector. We would like to expand in 25 major cities of India in the next two years.
Jaipur, Pune, Chennai and Surat are tentatively the next cities featuring on the
companys expansion strategy.
