"My Role as a Citizen of Earth" In the vast universe, we

were born on this planet called Earth, where various

cultures and ethnicities, all living things, and all of
nature exist together. However, in our world today, we
face numerous problems environmental destruction,
resource depletion, wars and conflicts, poverty, and
many more that make our future uncertain. Given this
situation, what do you think is the best way forward for
humanity? How do you wish to fulfill your role as a
citizen of Earth?

To be human with a purpose

Many people point their hands at the muslim terrorist and thus the
muslim community, saying that they should be ashamed of
themselves, that they are a disgrace to the human race. Bit did we
forget that those terrorists are human too like us. So we should be
just as ashamed or more as we look at what our world has become
due to matter of miscommunication, superiority, misunderstanding.

Every fault of mankind whether different ethnicity, race, gender,

power is not the absolute fault of one group or individual then
related to their country but the fault of the whole. Therefore it is
then our responsibility, as humans, to act and reinforce the notion of
unity by acting on behalf of citizens of Earth, not just citizens of your
particular nation. It is then, united by unity, under a nation of Earth
that humanity can only improve for the better and succumb

Sounds simple, yet so difficult in this world society that we live
in. The balances of good and evil, poor and rich and different
races not yet equal. Will it ever be?
It is not enough to be human, the news and events occurring
today seem to suggest that maybe its better not to be human.
Not if it means to steal, kill and destroy others. Theres too

priverlleged to have, specifically those living with poverty. Thus
it is the responsibilities of those who have those rights to give it

together and there is no discrepancy of race, ethnicity, gender,
socio-economic status. I would
My parents are Samoan, yet I was born in New Zealand and
lived in Australia. I have citizenship in two of these places and
yet as my role as citizen of this earth, I choose to be neither
because Ive come to realise something very important. What
seems to divide us is our ethnicity, religion etc. ,
