2. Read Stance and Strategy: Post-structural perspective and post-colonial engagement
It is a difficult read, but if you really get to understand the article, your grasp of the issue of nursing
science and the direction it needs to grow is enriched considerably. Write an article that flows using
APA format and at least 400 words and a maximum of 500 words in answer to the following
questions.
Again, do not just number the question and then answer. It has to be a single article that flows.
1. What is the authors main thesis?
2. What gap in the literature does this article address?
3. Describe, in your own words, the post-structural stance that the author is proposing we
adopt?
4. What post-colonial strategy is the author advocating for? Explain your answer.
Ensure that you have at least 3 research articles or leading thought articles to back up your
arguments. I want to see a doctoral level paper please.
The style of writing should be academic, not literary. You can google academic writing to
familiarize yourself with this style of writing. You must also read about how to write an academic
paper, paying attention to structure, format, content, grammar and use of the APA format.
If you are unfamiliar with the APA format, please google OWL Purdue APA to read on how to write
using the APA style.
Start with an introductory paragraph where you have a strong opening statement, one that will attract
the reader to read further and not put your article down. The first paragraph also explains the
purpose of the article.
Then, the body of the article comes next. The paragraphs must have a logical progression and each
paragraph must have transitional statements that connect the paragraphs to each other.
The final paragraph is the conclusion and summary paragraph.
Limit your first paper to 500 words. But you should have at least 300 words.
