Strategy & Concept

Our purpose is to create a catalog targeted towards outdoorsy,
mature men, who are looking for fashionable clothing. By creating
this catalog we will be able to reach a mature customer instead of
continuing as what has become, a high school brand. We plan to
do this by mixing street style with traditional classics and aiming
towards a higher end theme. We hope to establish ourselves as a
brand of refined rebellion, instead of teenage angst. In turn, we hope
to establish a loyal, mature customer that has a disposable income to
spend at Urban Outfitters. We chose August 10th as our drop date
due to the end of the summer and the beginning of the back to
school and fall season.

The Primitive Pioneer is an individual that stands out in a crowd. He

is a fashion leader and risk taker. This individual tends to mix fabrics
and prints by playing with texture and patterns in clothing. Our
target customer is a mature bro who is interested in outdoor
activities. He yearns to explore the unknown and has interest in new
cultures and innovation in technology. The Primitive Pioneer has
awareness of the current economic state and likes to buy made in
America clothing occasionally to support our national economy.

Creative Concept
for Stories

The images in this story will feature men in their natural freshair habitat. The Wilderness Explorer likes to enjoy the
outdoors and the scenery around him. It will focus on
transitional pieces that can be worn for hiking, camping, or
resting in the woods. The Wilderness Explorer is ready for any
adventure with a backpack full of camping tools and warm
layers for the chilly weather.

The concept for this story is based on the flannel being the
essential wardrobe piece for fall. This story will display the
different ways to stylize flannel button ups, whether it involves
pairing it with jeans or a leather jacket. This photo shoot will
be studio shot with a casual vibe.

The concept for this story will feature our collaboration with
new coming brand, Tarboo. It will focus on a behind the
scenes look at how Tarboo garments are made. It will
emphasize the quality and heritage of the brand by
showcasing the details of the garments with a rustic approach.

Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful forests this fall

with comfortable layered pieces .Whether hiking,
camping, or rustling in the woods you will be
prepared for any adventure.
