    TheAuthorizedNuclearInspectorSupervisorCourse(NS)isafivedaycourseforindividualswiththe
    NationalBoard"N"endorsementwishingtoqualifyasasupervisor.Thecourseintroducesthedutiesofatechnical
    supervisortheprinciples,techniquesandtoolsusedinmonitoringinspectionactivitiesandauditingqualitysystemsand
    evaluatingtestsandexaminations.Thecoursealsointroducesthestudenttoradiationhealthphysicsrequirements.

    LearningOutcomes
    Afterattendingthistrainingstudentswillbeableto:
    DescribeQualityAssuranceSystems
    DescribethedutiesandresponsibilitiesofInspectorsandSupervisors
    Evaluatetestsandexaminations

    ReferenceMaterials
    Eachstudentisrequiredtobringthefollowingmaterials(currentlymandatededition/addendum):
    NationalBoardRCI1,RulesforCommissionedInspectors(NB263)
    ASMESectionIII,Div.1,SubsectionNCA,NB,NC,andND
    ASMEQAI1,QualificationsforAuthorizedInspection
    ASMENQA1,QualityAssuranceRequirementsforNuclearFacilityApplication
    NOTE:TheNationalBoardadherestocopyrightrestrictionsofallcodesandstandards.Studentsshouldbeawareorknowthiswhen
    registeringforNationalBoardtraining.

    CriteriaforSuccessfulCompletion
    Asaminimum,foraNationalBoardCertificateofSuccessfulCompletionandIACETCEUstobeissued,studentsmust:
    activelyparticipateinclassroomassignments,
    haveaminimumattendanceof90%,
    completethecourseevaluationsurvey,and
    achievea70%orhigheronthefinalexamination.
