YOUTH FUND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS DEADLINE: APRIL 15TH, 2010
Is your organization led by
youth aged 15-32 years? Is your organisation working on innovative and sustainable projects that will improve your community and the lives of young people? If YES, your organisation could be eligible to receive a grant! UN-HABITAT has established its Urban Youth Fund to support projects piloting innovative approaches to employment, good governance, shelter and secure tenure for the urban poor. Small, youth-led development initiatives are eligible for grants up to USD 5,000 and larger projects are eligible for grants up to USD 25,000. Applications from organisations partnering with government agencies, the private sector and civil society organisations are encouraged to apply. Projects promoting gender equality are particularly welcome.
