groupwilltakethreediceandrollthemstudentswillusethethreedicetocome
upwithequationsthatresultinanswersthatareonthepins.forexample:ifyou
roll4,2,and3theycanget5by4x23theyreknockingdownthe#5pin.ifthey
canproduceequationstoknockoutallpinstheygetastrike.ifnotrollagainto
seeiftheycancontinueknockingtherestdowntogetaspare.

paper.Theteacherwillgivethemafewtimetothinkofsomeproblemsandwalkaround
theroomtohelpwiththeirthinking.Later,thestudentswillshowtheirproblemstothe
class.
