Final assessment about maxer machine and instruments

Monitor too much gain is visible on the output. Even if it is set to gain off, still the
noise is visible making it a visual disturbance to the client and end-user.
Insufflator 30L delay insufflation. This problem occurs during the demonstrations.
Sometimes it just stopped insufflating during in the middle of operation and then go
back to its normal state making it very dangerous for the patient and end-users.
Suction / Irrigation pump It is listed on the manual that aspirate and irrigate speed
is up to 3L/minute but for our assessment, we recorded a 2L/minute speed both for
aspirate and irrigate. It is still acceptable for end-user. We have another back-up
unit of S/I pump in the office.
Cart although it is durable and do repaint for it, the castor wheels starts to wiggle.
Making it not safe for our machines to transfer from one operating room to another.
Other machines are fully functional.
For instruments, we have many demo units for laparoscopy. In continuous use, the
color of the handles starts to fade making it not presentable when it use to
conventions for display. Much better if we have separate demo units for conventions
and for actual procedures.
I think we also need to have a dedicated set of instruments to be use exclusively for
animal workshop.
The surgeons and OB-gyne doctors are conducting a semi-annual animal workshops
for their residents and students and as part of our commitment to their respective
organizations and to gain exposure for our brand, we join their workshop.
