1. Briefly describe four kinds of decisions made by Marketing managers.
What products should we produce ?
How much of each product should we produce ?
How are our product best promoted and advertised ?
How should our products be distributed for maximum customer satisfaction ?

2. In SAP ERP a sales order is entered only once, by the sales people. It need not
be entered a second time, in Accounting, to keep the books. Briefly explain
why that second entry is not needed.
By contrast , ERP system integrate Accounting with all business processes, so
that when sales order is recorded the related accounting data is updated
automatically
3. Briefly describe two Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activities.
One-to-one marketing: once a customer is ctegorizedm the company can tailor
products , promotions, and prising accordingly .
Sales force automation: Occurrences of customer contacts are logged in the
companys database.
Discussion
Assume you are an IT personnel and one of your new project sub task is to develop a
Sales Order Process System for a new Supermarket. Please identify all the features
that are needed to perform the sales order process and explain the function of each
feature.
