1) Investigation - what are your goals for this CAS experience?
My goals for this CAS experience are to improve my times so I will be able to compete
on an international level to represent my county. (Bahamas) I will also develop my long
distance performance being a sprinter and being built like a sprinter this will be difficult.
2) Preparation briefly identify your plan of action and include an approximate
timeline.
Aug.19th 2015- Basra 5k Open Water Swim (1.28:30)
Oct.3rd 2015- 5k Open Water Swim in Nassau (1:25:50)
Oct 10th 2015- 5k Open Water Swim in Abaco
Oct.30th-31st 2015- Swift Swimming Swim Meet
(Just to name a few a PDF will be uploaded beside this form)
These are a few of the meets/ event that I will be taking apart in. The times that I do in
these swim meets will help me be chosen to represent my country in events such as
Carifta and CISC. I will also take part in swim meets in Florida but this will be
representing my swim club and also my country.
3) Action - how will you accomplish your goals? Who will be involved?
My goals will be accomplished by training Monday Thursday for 3 hours and FridaySaturday for 2 hours. I will push myself against other swimmers who are faster than me
by doing this it will prepare me for when I get into a race and compete against my
competition.

4) Reflection - what were your expectations? What did you hope to gain from this
experience? What did you learn? What are your next steps? How are the Learner
Profile attributes incorporated?
What I hope to gain from this experience is meeting new people from other
Caribbean countries this will help me learn about their country and build a long
lasting friendship with them. Improving my times will help me meet college
standards by doing this a scholarship offer may occur.

5) Demonstration what evidence will you use to show you have completed your
goals?
I will show how my time has improved through the years and how my strength has help
me to develop.
